Siemens Business Service ( SBS )是在电子消费类、电信行业和IT管理行业中最卓越的领导者之一，基于SBS强大的系统集成、IT管理能力和IT外包能力，它向其客户提供丰富而专业的商业咨询、解决方案以及维护服务等增值业务。2001年SBS的营业额为60亿欧元，员工数量约为36000人。

为了适应现代人力资源管理的要求，1998年西门子集团（Siemens AG）决定启动mySAP人力资源管理系统的部署计划，该计划将西门子超过200,000的员工和超过130,000的退休人员纳入一个统一的管理系统中去。这个计划由SBS、FSC和SAP共同实施。

在该项目中PRIMECLUSTER HA组件一共在13台服务器上进行了部署，操作系统全部为Linux。PRIMECLUSTER为所有的应用服务器提供高可用性保护。
